Nifty made all time high of 22,623: Sensex rose by 400 points, Bandhan Bank shares fell by more than 6% after the resignation of CEO.

On the first trading day of the week i.e. today 8th April, the stock market is witnessing a boom. Nifty has made an all time high of 22,623. It was trading at 22,620 with a rise of about 100 points at 9:40 am. At the same time, Sensex is seeing a rise of 400 points, it is trading at the level of 74,640. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 27 are showing a rise and 3 are seeing a decline. Apart from this, a decline of more than 6% is being seen in the shares of Bandhan Bank. Actually, this pressure on the company’s shares has come after the resignation of CEO Chandra Shekhar Ghosh. Nifty Consumer Durables saw the highest rise of 2.06%. Talking about NSE’s sectoral index, Nifty Consumer Durables saw the highest rise of 2.06%. Apart from this, a rise of 1.26% is seen in Nifty Realty, 0.36% in Nifty Auto, 0.23% in Nifty Financial Services and 0.25% in FMCG. Whereas, a decline of 0.18% is seen in Nifty PSU Bank. There was a slight rise in the stock market on 5th April. There was a slight rise in the stock market on the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday (5th April). The Sensex closed at 74,248 with a gain of 20 points. There was no rise or fall in Nifty, it closed flat at the level of 22,513. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 17 saw a decline and 13 saw a rise.
