Adani Group company Adani Total Gas Limited has started production at the plant located in Barsana, Uttar Pradesh. 225 tonnes of agricultural waste will be processed here daily. This will produce 10 tons of biogas. This project is worth a total of Rs 200 crore, which is to be completed in three phases. After becoming fully operational, 600 tonnes of organic waste will be processed here and 42 TPD (42 tonnes per day) compressed biogas and 217 tonnes of organic fertilizer will be produced. The company claims that this will be India’s largest bio-CNG plant based on agri waste. Dependence on fossil fuels will reduce. This is the first production facility of Adani Total Energies Biomass Limited (ATBL). Which converts organic material into renewable biogas with the help of advanced anaerobic digestion technology. Due to which greenhouse gas emissions and fossil fuel dependence are significantly reduced. Pranav Adani said – Proof of our commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Recently the group company ‘Kutch Copper’ has started production in the Greenfield Copper Refinery Project located in Mundra. This is also the group’s first step into the metal industry. Adani Group has invested 1.2 billion dollars (about Rs 10,008 crore) in this plant. This copper smelting plant is to be completed in two phases, in the first phase of which there will be an annual production of 5 lakh tonnes of copper. In the second phase, another plant with the same capacity (5 lakh tonnes per annum) will be built. That means, with a total annual production of 1 million tonnes, it will be the world’s largest metal smelter located in a single location. Revenue grew 4.89% to ₹1,244 crore in Q3FY24 Adani Total Gas’ net profit grew 18% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹177 crore in Q3FY24. The company had registered a net profit of Rs 150 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s revenue from operations increased by 4.89% to Rs 1,244 crore in Q3. It was Rs 1,186 crore in the same period of the last financial year. EBITDA increased by 26% to Rs 300 crore. Operating profit (EBITDA) of Adani Total Gas increased by 26% year-on-year to Rs 300 crore in the December quarter. It was Rs 238 crore in the same quarter last year.
