Even after his lung burst, Divyansh did not give up, he got AIR 1 in NEET UG exam, his story will shock you

The results of NEET UG Exam 2024 were declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday. This time a record-breaking number of candidates participated in this exam. On the other hand, this time 67 candidates secured AIR 1 in the exam. One of these 67 candidates is Divyansh from Haryana. Who topped the NEET exam despite battling a serious illness.

The dedication and hard work of Divyansh, who is suffering from a serious lung disease called pneumothorax, is commendable. Even after this disease, he not only passed the NEET 2024 exam but also achieved AIR 1. His father is in the Indian Army. Inspired by his father and uncle, Divyansh also wanted to join the army and was planning to take the NDA exam, but when he shared this with his father, his father encouraged him to serve the society by becoming a doctor.

Got excellent marks in minors too

After reaching Kota in July 2023, Divyansh started having trouble breathing and his tests revealed that he had pneumothorax. One of his lungs had burst and he was breathing with one lung and was hospitalized for a week. During this time, the teachers of the institute where he was preparing used to visit him regularly and motivate him. When Divyansh returned home, he focused on preparing for the minor exam and scored 686 out of 720. After his second minor exam, the condition worsened and his father took him to the Army Hospital in Chandigarh for two weeks, where there was no improvement and later he was taken to Delhi for two weeks.

Teachers helped

After three months of treatment, when Divyansh was about to start studying back in Kota, he got dengue and was bedridden for a week. After losing a lot of time, his teachers helped him a lot. Divyansh says that most of the students were way ahead in the syllabus, but I focused on myself and followed my teachers.
