JMI Admissions: Great opportunity to learn Urdu, JMI has started registration for this course

Jamia Millia Islamia Admissions: If you are interested in Urdu language then this news is important for you. Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) and Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) are inviting applications from students who are interested in learning Urdu language. This is a one-year course. Which can be done by Hindi or English medium students. Admissions in this course are open throughout the year. Interested students can apply through the official website jmi.ac.in.

This is the registration fee

Admission form and prospectus can be obtained from the office of Director, Urdu Correspondence Course, Centre for Distance and Online Education, Jamia Millia Islamia. For registration, students residing in India will have to pay Rs 500. While students coming from SAARC countries will have to pay 20 US dollars. Students from other countries will have to spend 50 US dollars.

Exam dates have been revised

Due to Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the entrance exam dates for several courses have been revised. The examination for admission to JMI has started. The exam for MA (Economics), MA (Applied Psychology), Diploma in Engineering (Regular/Self Finance), MBA/MBA (IB) Self Finance/MBA (Entrepreneurship and Family Business) (Self Finance) will be held on 09 June. The entrance exam is conducted in multiple slots in a day. The exam is conducted from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Negative marking will be done  

Candidates securing less than 30% marks in the entrance exam will not be selected for interview and admission. There will also be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in objective type or multiple choice questions in all the programs of the university.
