NEET PG Exam Date Announced: After a long wait, the date of NEET PG exam has finally been released. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has informed that this time the NEET PG exam will be conducted on 11 August 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts in a single day. Last time it was canceled about 12 hours before the exam due to the fear of disturbances in the exam. This time the Home Ministry will make strong arrangements in collaboration with the cyber cell so that there is no problem.

The exam will be conducted under the supervision of the Home Ministry

This time the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG exam will now be conducted under the supervision of the Home Ministry. To avoid problems like paper leak, the question paper will be prepared two hours before the exam. Apart from this, many government agencies will be engaged in this work so that there is no scope for any mistake. A meeting of the Home Ministry with Cyber ​​Cell and Tata Consultancy has been held in this regard and strong arrangements have been made for the security of the exam.

This time the paper pattern also changed

This time the paper pattern of NEET PG exam was also changed. This decision came just a few days before the exam. The exam has also been bound by time limit and this has also been done keeping security in mind.

  • Now the paper will be divided into multiple time bound sections. For example, if there are five sections, then 42 minutes will be given for each section in which there will be 40 questions. Under the new rule, until one section is completed, i.e. the time given to it is not over, you cannot go to another section.
  • Once the given time is over, the candidate can neither see his old answers again nor change them. In one and the given time, he can answer whatever MCQ he wants in whichever section.

Exam Day Guidelines

  • Reach the exam center at least one and a half hours before the start of the exam. Earlier the exam timing was from 9 am to 12.30 pm. In such a situation, you had to reach the center at 8 am. This time the shift timing will be released in a few days.
  • Do not carry any kind of electronic device with you. Also do not carry any kind of copy or book.
  • Make sure to carry your admit card and valid photo ID with you. New admit cards may be issued again. Keep checking the website for updates.
