Durga Puja, also known as Navratri, is one of the most significant Hindu festivals celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour in Delhi NCR. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil and is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, who represents strength, power, and divine energy. The festivities start with the installation of beautifully decorated pandals housing the idol of Goddess Durga, along with her four children – Lakshmi, Saraswati, Ganesha, and Kartikeya. People from all walks of life come together to offer prayers, perform traditional rituals, and seek the blessings of the goddess.
