‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ movie or joke, know how is Sara Ali Khan’s movie, read review

Ae Watan Mere Watan Movie Review in Hindi: Sara Ali Khan and that too a patriotic period film? Then a character like Usha Mehta? How did you feel after hearing it? Of course you will be a little surprised. Of course, when I saw ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, my expressions were similar. It was really surprising to present a brilliant historical character in such a light manner through a film. The film has been produced by Karan Johar and directed by Kannan Iyer. Not only this, mostly very weak Bollywood films are released on OTT, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ has confirmed this thought of mine. Apart from Sara Ali Khan, Emraan Hashmi, Anand Tiwari, Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma and Sparsh Srivastava are in lead roles in the film.

The story of ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is about a freedom fighter about whom very few people know. The story of the film is by Usha Mehta. Who had run Congress Radio during the freedom struggle and she used to run it secretly. This radio did a lot of work during the Quit India Movement of 1942. Usha Mehta was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 1998 and died on 11 August 2000. Only this story of Usha Mehta has been shown and Sara Ali Khan has become Usha Mehta. Not only this, the character of Ram Manohar Lohia has been played by Emraan Hashmi. Now from this you can guess how dangerous the vision of its casting director must have been. In the film, an attempt has been made to show Usha’s family, the political environment of that time, the struggle of Indians for freedom, the atrocities of the British and the great leaders of that time. But the rawness of the direction, poor casting, the film failing to touch anywhere and then the weakest link Sara Ali Khan. Makes the entire film tedious.

Aye Watan Mere Watan Trailer

The almost two and a quarter hour film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is neither able to entertain on any occasion nor is it able to show an important character of history and his life in a powerful manner. Then the way Sara Ali Khan has acted, it works like an itch for leprosy. Sara’s selection for the role of Usha Mehta was completely unfair to the character. Anyway, last week we had seen Sara Ali Khan’s disappointing acting in Murder Mubarak. The way the characters have been created in ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, they look less like characters from a film related to the freedom movement, but more like models of a costume show. In this way, this film of Amazon Prime Video has proved that good films are not released directly on OTT.
