Isha Kopikar has faced casting couch at the age of 18, said- they asked me to be friendly…

Actress Isha Koppikar, who made her Bollywood debut with the film Fiza, recently shared her casting couch experience. The actress said, I was 18 years old when a secretary and an actor approached me for casting couch. They said that you have to be friendly with actors to get work. I am very friendly. But what does that friendliness mean? I am so friendly that Ekta Kapoor once told me to keep a little attitude.

The actress further said, “When I was 23 years old, an A-list actor asked me to meet him alone, without my driver or anyone else, because there were rumours about him having affairs with other actresses. He said, ‘There are already controversies about me, and the staff spread rumours.’ But I refused and told him that I cannot come alone. He was an A-list actor of the Hindi film industry.”

In an interview with the Indian Express, Isha Koppikar said, “I called the hero, who asked me to meet him alone. At that time, he was being accused of infidelity, so he asked me to leave his staff and meet him.” Isha then called the producer and said that she was selected because of her “talent and looks and if that can help me get good work, then that’s great.”

It is worth mentioning that Isha Koppikar started her career as a model in the 90s. She has worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Marathi films. Some of her hit films include Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, Hum Tum, Don, Darling and 36 China Town.
