Very few people outside the industry know that Aamir Khan’s son Junaid has been active in theatre for a long time. After studying dramatics for three years and graduating, Junaid has spent several years honing his art in theatre. However, theatre was not his only goal. In fact, since 2017, along with his theatre work, Junaid also started looking for opportunities for himself in the film industry.
A source close to the industry revealed, “Junaid auditioned for several roles but faced a lot of rejections, including one from his father’s own production ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Despite facing seven major rejections, the makers of his upcoming film saw one of Junaid’s previous audition tapes and gave him another chance to audition. However, this opportunity also came with some conditions.”
The shooting of the film began in February 2021 and was completed in eight months. And since then Junaid has been waiting for its release. Junaid’s hard work is clearly visible in the recently released poster of the film. His dedication and passion for his work is clearly visible in the poster.
