Kalki 2898 AD Review in Hindi: Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan’s Kalki 2898 AD has been released. The film has been directed by South’s famous director Nag Ashwin. Kalki’s story is of a time when the world has completely turned upside down. What is needed is a hope and this hope comes through Deepika Padukone and this is a part of a project. Amitabh Bachchan becomes the protector of this ray of hope through Deepika Padukone. Kamal Haasan is looking for Deepika Padukone. Prabhas has become a bounty hunter and he also wants Deepika, but for his own benefit.
This is the story of Kalki. The director has tried his best to show the audience a world which has rarely been seen in Indian cinema. But this is where the problem arises. This world seems to be inspired by many Hollywood and Bollywood films. This world seems to be borrowed and it has been borrowed from Padmavat, Mad Max, Transformers, Avengers, Avatar and many such blockbuster films. Only the second half of the film is strong in which there is something to see, otherwise the director seems to be completely creating an atmosphere for Kalki 2. After the film ends, the only thing that comes to mind is that this is Amitabh Bachchan’s film.
Talking about acting in Kalki 2898 AD, the stars don’t have much scope because this is a hero and emotions are just technology. If we talk about characters, the one who is in focus throughout the film is Ashwatthama. That is Amitabh Bachchan. After watching this film, it doesn’t seem that this is Prabhas’s film. It is completely dedicated to Amitabh Bachchan from every angle and what he has done is one of his best roles. Prabhas is an action star, but the director makes him do comedy. When the whole atmosphere is serious, then who knows in which world Prabhas is shown. Any actress would have played Deepika Padukone’s role exactly like this. To see Kamal Haasan in full form, we will have to wait for Kalki 2.
Talking about the verdict of Kalki 2898 AD, it has action, strong VFX, mythological characters, mythological events, but along with this, it has a weak story. Prabhas is a misfit. It is a cocktail of many blockbuster films. If you are a fan of Prabhas, then you might get angry, if you are a fan of Amitabh Bachchan, then you will clap a lot. Overall, those who like to watch action, technology and big stars can definitely watch this film once, others might get angry.
