Makers of HanuMan film donated Rs 2.6 crore for Ayodhya Ram temple, thus fulfilled the promise

Prashant Verma’s superhero film Hanuman was released on January 12. This film starring Teja Sajja, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Amrita Iyer and Vinay Rai is doing well at the box office across the world. The makers had promised to give ₹ 5 on every ticket sold for Ayodhya Ram Temple and they are now living up to it. The film team told the press that a donation of ₹ 2,66,41,055 has been made for the Ayodhya Ram temple. The film crossed the ₹150 crore mark worldwide and made huge money at the box office in the weekend also. The film team says that Hanuman won more occupancy in the country and abroad in its second weekend.

During the pre-release event, the makers mentioned about donating ₹5 for every ticket sold for Ram Mandir. He has already donated a check of ₹14,85,810 out of the 2,97,162 tickets sold during the film’s premiere. Now they will contribute ₹2,66,41,055 out of 53,28,211 tickets sold.

Celebrities will participate in Abhishek

The consecration of Ram temple will take place in Ayodhya on 22 January. Many celebrities, sportspersons, politicians and other VIPs are expected to attend the event. Rajinikanth, Dhanush, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Jackie Shroff, Anushka Sharma and many more got invited.

Actor Mohan Babu and director Vivek Agnihotri announced that they would not be able to attend it due to some commitments. ANI has reported the arrival of Rajinikanth and Dhanush in Ayodhya.

Talking about the film, Hanuman is running in theaters and tells the story of a young man named Hanumanthu (Teja). He acquires superpowers after coming across a family deity in his village. How he stands up for his people against a capitalist villain (Vinay) with the help of his sister (Varalakshmi) and girlfriend (Amrita). This is the story of the film.
