Mirzapur 3 Review: The third season of India’s most liked web series Mirzapur has been released. The previous two seasons of this series were liked a lot. Mirzapur 2 ended brilliantly and with many questions. Mirzapur 3 has come with answers to these questions. This time the story of Mirzapur 3 revolves more around the throne of Mirzapur than revenge. In season 3, Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) has sat on the throne of Mirzapur but all the strongmen of Purvanchal do not consider him worthy of that. The story of Mirzapur 3 has been created around this throne.
Story
The story of Mirzapur 3 begins after season 2. In which Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu Sharma) has died but his Chief Minister wife Madhuri (Isha Talwar) is adopting her political tactics to avenge her husband’s death. At the same time, Sharad (Anjum Sharma) is busy combining politics and muscle power to grab the throne of Mirzapur to fulfill his father’s dream. The story of Mirzapur 3 begins with Golu Gupta (Shweta Tripathi) who is looking for injured Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi). At the same time, Guddu Pandit is holding on to the throne of Mirzapur on the strength of his obsession and fear.
Character
Like the first and second season, Mirzapur 3 also has a huge number of characters. In such a situation, the makers have been stingy in showing any character completely. Ali Fazal was seen handling the character of Guddu Bhaiya, but after sitting on the throne of Mirzapur, his character seems childish at times. Munna Bhaiya and Kaleen Bhaiya will be missed in every episode. Pankaj Tripathi was given such a small role that it seems that he too has died in Mirzapur 3. Vijay Raj has looked fine as Bade Tyagi. At the same time, other actors including Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi have done a decent job.
Drawbacks of Mirzapur 3
This series has been running on the basis of its violence and muscle power. In the era of films like Animal, Mirzapur 3 has much less violence as compared to the previous two seasons. The shine of Mirzapur 3 diminished when Munna Bhaiya died in this series. In season three, the makers have presented the character of Kaleen Bhaiya as almost dead. He is seen in Mirzapur 3 but is almost non-existent. This web series is based only on the side actors and the madness of Guddu Bhaiya. After a time, the story of Mirzapur 3 starts to seem so boring that one feels like forwarding it and watching it further.
Verdict
Mirzapur 3 is very weak in comparison to its two seasons. It seems that the makers have made this series only for the next season. Because in the entire series all the characters have been introduced by giving them small roles. Due to which the story of Mirzapur 3 seems to be astray many times.
