Rashmika Mandanna’s first look from Shekhar Kammula’s Kuber was released on Friday (July 5). The film is being shot in Hyderabad and also stars Dhanush and Nagarjuna in lead roles. Though the glimpse doesn’t reveal much, it does give an idea of what the film could be about. Rashmika shared her first look from the film on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). It wrote Kuber along with several heart emojis. In the 48-second video, her character is seen going to a deserted place at midnight. She looks around before digging something with an iron rod and a shovel. Soon she pulls out a large suitcase from the ground and opens it to find it filled with cash. She prays with a big smile on her face before picking it up.

Fans were surprised by his first look and many were wondering what his character would be like and what Kuber is. One fan commented, “Interesting story and just waiting for the film to know your role in it.” Another wrote, “Love you Rashu…the film looks fun.” One of his fans jokingly said, “Rashu, should we divide the money into half?”
The director of one of Rashmika’s upcoming films ‘The Girlfriend’ also congratulated her and commented, “Many congratulations to you and the team @rashmika_mandanna”
About Kubera
The filmmaker has described Kubera as a ‘mythological pan India’ film. The looks of Dhanush and Nagarjuna from the film have already been released. Kubera is produced by Sunil Narang and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cinema LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, the release date is yet to be announced.
