Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are all set to get married. Ahead of their wedding, Shashi Ranjan, a close friend of the actress’ father Shatrughan Sinha, shared an update about the wedding. He told ETimes, “She (Sonakshi) is getting married to the man she loves. Everyone is attending. Shatrughan ji’s brother is also flying in from the US for the wedding. The registered wedding will take place at Zaheer Iqbal’s house. It is a very happy moment for me and the family.”
A day earlier, Shatrughan Sinha had confirmed that he will be attending the wedding. In an interview with Zoom, the senior actor and politician spoke on the false reports that claimed that he will not be attending the wedding. He said, “Tell me whose life is it after all? It is my only daughter Sonakshi’s life whom I am very proud of and whom I love very much. She calls me her pillar of strength. I will definitely be present at the wedding. Why shouldn’t I be and why won’t I be?” He added, “The fact that I am still in Mumbai shows that I am here not only as her pillar of strength but also as her real armour. Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live their lives together. They look great together.”
Speaking on fake news going viral online, he said, “I would like to warn them with my signature dialogue, Khamosh… you have no business here. Just mind your own business.” Sonakshi and Zaheer have been rumoured to be dating since 2020. They shared screen space in the 2022 film Double XL. They also appeared in the music video Blockbuster last year.
