The film made in nine crores was a flop in the theatres, this actress never worked with Ajay Devgan after one film

Although a lot of films are released in Bollywood every year, only a few of them become hits. It is often seen that a low budget film of a small star earns a lot and a big budget film of a big star flops. Although there are many reasons behind this like story, actor, direction etc. But when a big star’s film flops, they become very cautious and try not to repeat the same mistake again. Similarly, when a big budget film of a star flopped, he never signed any film with the heroine of that film again. Let’s know about this film.

This movie of Ajay and Priyanka was a flop
We are talking about Ajay Devgan starrer Blackmail which was released in 2005. It was an action thriller film in which Ajay Devgan and Priyanka Chopra were in the lead roles. The film was made on a huge budget of 9 crores and flopped like a pack of cards at the box office. Apart from Ajay Devgan and Priyanka, Sunil Shetty and Dia Mirza were also in important roles in this film. The film was directed by Ajay Devgan’s brother Anil Devgan. Before this, Anil had made Raju Chacha with Ajay Devgan in 2000. Blackmail was inspired by the Hollywood movie Ransom which was released in 1996. The music of the film was by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were written by Sameer. If seen, everything was perfect but the film could not become a hit and it affected everyone from the hero to the heroine.

This pair was not seen together again
This film, made in nine crores, was in such a bad shape that it could only earn 6.58 crores at the box office. That is, this film failed to even recover its budget. After this film flopped, Ajay Devgan was so scared that he did not sign any film with Priyanka Chopra after this. If you remember, Priyanka and Ajay did not appear together in any film after this film. Maybe the audience did not like their chemistry that much.
