But Prithviraj Sukumaran was not the first choice for Bade Mian Chhote Mian. This has been revealed by the film’s director Ali Abbas Zafar. Ali Abbas Zafar has told that Prithviraj Sukumaran had refused to work in this film for the first time. However, during the conversation, Prithviraj Sukumaran himself called and agreed to do the work.

Ali Abbas Zafar then revealed how Prithviraj initially refused the film and also shared how he convinced the veteran South actor to do Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Ali said, ‘When I offered him the film, although Prithviraj liked his role, he initially refused due to schedule constraints. After a few days, I called him again and offered to accommodate Akshay and Tiger’s dates.
