Vicky Kaushal is all set to come up with a unique romantic comedy with Tripti Dimri and Amy Virk titled Bad News. It depicts a rare case of heteropaternal superfecundation. In this ‘one in a billion’ situation, eggs from two different men get fertilized in the same menstrual cycle of a woman.
When Vicky launched the trailer of the film at the trailer launch event held in Mumbai, he was asked about the ‘good news’ in his real life. Recently, there were also rumors of pregnancy of Vicky and his wife Katrina Kaif. Especially after a video of them surfaced from London. Due to these pictures, the news of Vicky and Katrina’s pregnancy gained momentum. However, the couple did not say anything about this. Now Vicky was directly asked a question about this.
Referring to the pregnancy rumours at the event, Vicky was asked when the audience will get to hear the good news of his real life, to which he replied, “For now, enjoy the bad news that we are bringing. When the time comes for that (good news), we will not shy away from giving this news.”
Katrina is also mentioned in the trailer of Bad News and Vicky revealed that his wife had not seen it until the trailer was launched. He revealed that he had only hinted to Katrina that she was a part of it which left her confused. Bad News will release in theatres on July 19, 2024 and is directed by Anand Tiwari who previously directed Vicky’s Love Per Square Foot.
