AFCAT 2024 Registration To Begin Soon: If you wish to join the Indian Air Force, you can apply for the Indian Air Force Common Admission Test 2024. A notice has been issued in which all the necessary information has been shared. According to the notification, applications for this time’s FCAT exam will start from May 30. Starting from 30th May, it will run till 28th June 2024. You can apply during this period. The form can be filled online only.

Can apply for both branches

Through this exam, one can apply for both the branches of Indian Air Force, ground and flying. Selection will be done after several levels of examination like written examination, interview and medical examination. The selection of candidates passing all the stages will be considered final. Through this recruitment process, candidates will be recruited for a total of 304 posts in both technical and non-technical branches.

Who can fill the form 

The eligibility to apply for both the branches is different. For Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) positions, the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Maths subjects with at least 50% marks. Along with this, he should have BE or B.Tech degree with at least 60 percent marks from a recognized university.

For Ground Duty Technical, it is necessary that the candidate has passed 10 + 2 examination with Physics and Maths subjects with at least 60 percent marks. Also he should have graduation or post graduation degree in engineering and technology from a recognized university.

The age limit for flying branch should be 20 to 24 years and for ground duty the age limit should be 20 to 26 years.

The paper pattern will be like this

FCAT written exam will be of total 300 marks in which 100 questions will be asked. Duration of the exam will be 2 hours. This will be an online exam. If there is negative marking, one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Those who pass these stages will be called for interview. Candidates who clear the interview will also have to undergo medical examination. Candidates who pass all three stages will be selected final.
