Allahabad University Admission 2024:The name of Allahabad University comes among some of the prestigious educational institutions of the country. It is the dream of students to study from here. First and foremost, to get admission in the undergraduate course here, you will have to pass the CUET UG exam. Apart from this, there is no other method of admission.
Permission not granted
Let us tell you that the university had sought permission from the Education Ministry to conduct its own entrance examination but the ministry has refused. Allahabad University will now have to give admission to the candidates only on the basis of CUET UG. They cannot conduct their own admission test.
What is the matter
The university’s argument was that there is a lot of delay in taking admission through CUET UG and the entire process starts with a lot of delay. Last year, many bright children went somewhere else due to this reason and the total enrollments in the university decreased. To fill the remaining vacant seats, Allahabad University had to give admission to the candidates without CUET score.
Note down work information
Registration is going on for admission to UG course in Allahabad University. BSc, BA, BCA, LLB, LLM courses can be done from here. The form was released on 27th February and the last date to apply is 26th March 2024. Corrections in the application will start from March 29. Fees have to be paid online only at the time of application. The fee is Rs 750 for up to 3 subjects, Rs 1500 for up to 7 subjects and Rs 1750 for up to 10 subjects. This is for general candidates. Reserved category will get relaxation.
Who is eligible
Candidates who have passed 12th from any recognized board can apply. The minimum pass percentage varies according to the course. Apart from this, score of CUET UG exam is necessary.
