CBSE Board New Textbooks: Many big decisions are being taken by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CBSE Board has made changes in the syllabus of Class 3 and Class 6. CBSE Board has made changes in the books of both the classes. The new syllabus will be taught in Class 3 and Class 6 in the academic session 2024-25 under NCERT pattern. Guidelines have been issued by the board to all the schools.  

NCERT sent a letter to CBSE saying that new syllabus and textbooks for classes 3 and 6 will be released soon. Schools should follow these new curriculum and textbooks by the year 2023 in place of the textbooks published by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

According to the official information of CBSE, NCERT is making a bridge course for Class 6 and brief guidelines for Class 3. So that students can be taught as per NCSE 2023. The board will also organize capacity building programs to prepare school heads and teachers for NEP 2020. In the instructions given by CBSE, it has been said that there will be no changes in the syllabus and textbooks of other classes for the academic year 2024-25 starting from April 1, 2024.

The notice states that it is very important for all schools to follow the syllabus instructions given in the opening page of the syllabus documents. It is further said that as far as possible the subjects should be taught as per the prescribed syllabus. The board will also organize capacity building programs for school heads and teachers.
