NTA To Close CSIR UGC NET 2024 Registration Today: The National Testing Agency will close the application window for the CSIR UGC NET exam today i.e. on Monday, 27 May 2024. Those candidates who have not been able to apply yet due to any reason despite being interested, should fill the form immediately. After today they will not get this opportunity because the last date to apply has already been extended. Today is the last date to fill the form under the extended last date.

Applications for CSIR UGC NET exam can be made online only. For this you have to visit this website – csirnet.nta.ac.in. Apart from applying from here, other details about the exam and further updates can also be found out. Admit card can also be downloaded from here after its release.

The exam will be held on these dates

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test 2024 will be conducted on 25, 26 and 27 June 2024. The window for correction in the form will be open from 29 to 31 May. Make whatever changes you want to make during this time.

This much will be the fee

To apply for CSIR UGC NET exam, candidates of general category will have to pay a fee of Rs 1150. At the same time, the fee for EWS and OBC category candidates is Rs 600. Candidates of other categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 325.

The paper pattern will be like this

This exam will be of total 180 minutes and will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm. There will be 150 questions in both the papers and these questions will be multiple choice.

The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages. +2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The exam will be conducted at 225 centres across the country.

Selection will be done for these

Through this exam, eligible candidates will be selected for Junior Research Fellow i.e. JRF, Assistant Professor and PhD program. This is a national level exam which is conducted twice a year.
