JEE Mains Result 2024 At A Glance: National Testing Agency has released the results of JEE Mains 2024 session two. The result has been released on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. This time’s topper is Neelkrishna who is from a small village in Maharashtra. This time the cut-off has also increased and so has the total number of students getting 100 percent. Let us know the special things about this time’s results.

A look at the results of JEE Mains 2024 session two

  • This time around 9.24 lakh candidates had applied and 8.2 lakh appeared in the examination.
  • This time the topper has been Neelkrishna Neelkumar from Maharashtra. He has got AIR One.
  • Sanjay Mishra of Maharashtra has secured second rank and Aarav Bhatt of Haryana has secured third rank.
  • Three out of top five students are from Kota coaching.
  • This time the cut-off for general category was 93.23 percent whereas in the year 2023 it was 90.77. It was 88.4 percent in the year 2022.
  • This time the number of students getting 100 percentile has increased. Last year only 43 students had got this many marks and this time 56 candidates have got this many marks.
  • 100 percentile, only two are girls. Saanvi Jain from Karnataka and Sanya Sinha from Delhi.
  • Telangana has the highest number of toppers who have secured 100 percentile. Last year also this record was in the name of Telangana.
  • 15 students from Telangana, 7 each from Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh have got 100 percentile. These two states are at second place after Telangana.
  • Delhi is at third place (six students here have got 100 percentile), Rajasthan is at fourth place (five students), Karnataka is at fifth place (three students).
  • Neelkrishna stood first, Sanjay Mishra second, Aarav Bhatt third, Aditya Kumar fourth and Hundekar Vidit stood fifth.
  • Neelkrishna, Sanjay and Aditya are from Kota.
  • This time a total of 250284 candidates have qualified for the JEE Advanced exam.
