JoSAA Counseling 2024: JoSAA counseling will start from this day, these documents will be required

JoSAA Counseling 2024:The result of Joint Entrance Examination has been declared. About 56 candidates have passed this exam with 100 percent marks. NTA score and JEE Main rank for BE, B.Tech paper for all the candidates appearing in first session and second session is available on the official site jeemain.nta.ac.in. With the completion of the exam process, the process of seat allotment will begin. After this, the process of JoSAA counseling will start after the declaration of JEE Advanced result.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority counseling will be conducted for admission to 118 institutes including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 38 other technical institutes. Six rounds will be organized in this. Details of JEE Main rank opening and closing will be given after each round. On the basis of which the candidate will get admission. JEE Advanced exam will be held on 26 May. After which counseling will start from the third week of June i.e. 20th June.

To get admission in NIT, IIT and CFTI, students are required to score at least 75% marks in class 12th examination or the student must be in the top 20% in the results of the respective board. Reserved category candidates are required to pass class 12th board exam with 65 percent marks. After the sixth JoSAA counseling round, two more rounds will be conducted by the CSAB Board to allot the vacant seats of NIT+ system. NIT cut-off will be announced by the institutes.
