NEET UG Result 2024: Will the results of NEET exam be canceled? Hearing will be held in Supreme Court today "Supreme" the hearing

NEET UG 2024 Result: At this time, the issue of many toppers in NEET UG 2024 is very much discussed. There is a demand to conduct this exam again. Recently, the officials of the National Testing Agency had said in a press conference that there was no irregularity in the examination. But there is a constant demand to cancel the result and take action on the alleged leak of the exam paper. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court for conducting the exam again, which will be heard today.

In the petition filed in the Supreme Court, there has been a demand for the formation of an SIT to investigate the fraud in the NEET exam. The petition has demanded the cancellation of the exam and a ban on counseling till the investigation of the paper leak is completed. A vacation bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta will hear the matter. Let us tell you that on May 17, the Supreme Court had issued a notice on the petition seeking cancellation of the exam on the basis of paper leak. But the apex court had refused to stay the result. The petition has been filed after the result came out.

The petition filed in the Supreme Court states that giving grace marks is not right on the part of the National Testing Agency to give backdoor entry to some students. The petitioners have mainly challenged the grace marks given to some students due to the delay during the examination and have demanded to conduct a fresh examination for admission in NEET-UG and withdraw the results. The petition states that giving grace marks was arbitrary and many students have scored 718 and 719 marks out of 720. Which is not statistically possible.

Demand for SIT investigation

Apart from this, the question has also been raised that how did 67 students of one center get full 720 marks?  The petition has demanded a ban on the counseling to be held for NEET-UG 2024 admission till the investigation of the alleged paper leak is completed. Along with this, a demand has also been made to constitute an SIT.
