NCS To Be Upgraded Soon: The government is considering a plan to modernize the National Career Service Portal. Soon technologies like AI and ML will be included in it so that it becomes easier for the candidates coming here to get job related information. The government wants to make some changes in this online job platform so that better coordination can be achieved between employers and job seekers.

New version may be launched soon

If media reports are to be believed, the Labor Ministry may soon launch the advanced version of NCS. Under this, job matching will become easier and the youth coming in search of jobs will be able to get filtered and better information in just one click. In this new version (NCS 2.0), it is being considered to make it advanced by using tools like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Will also talk to employers

To make the NCS portal more user friendly, there will be a discussion with the employers and it will be asked about what type of candidate they want for which job. The needs of the job seekers as well as the employers will be taken care of so that not only the right candidate can reach the right company but the company can also get the right candidate.

Launched many years ago

Let us tell you that NCS portal was launched in the year 2015. Apart from jobs, all kinds of information related to jobs and career like skill courses, career counseling and job fair are given to the youth here. According to official data, more than 10.9 million vacancies have been registered in the NCS portal in the year 2024.

Not only this, 8.73 million eligible candidates have also been elected from here. Information about more than one lakh vacancies is given here every month. Now preparations are underway to make it more advanced.
