Dolly Sohi Death News: Actress Dolly Sohi, famous for TV shows Jhanak and Bhabhi, is no more. He died on Friday morning in a hospital in Navi Mumbai due to cervical cancer. She was 47 years old. The information about Dolly Sohi’s demise has been given by her brother Manpreet. According to the late actress’s brother, cervical cancer was detected six months ago and since then Dolly Sohi was fighting the disease. But on Friday morning she lost the battle of her life against cervical cancer.

Speaking to news agency PTI, Manpreet said, ‘She is no more. He died at Apollo Hospital at around 4 am. She had cervical cancer which had spread to her lungs. Due to his ill health, we admitted him to the hospital last night. The surprising thing is that a day before Dolly Sohi’s death, i.e. on Thursday, her sister Amandeep Sohi also passed away. Amandeep Sohi was suffering from jaundice. She was also an actress.

Manpreet said, ‘Amandeep died on Thursday at DY Patil Hospital due to jaundice.’ It is noteworthy that Dolly Sohi had worked in many TV shows like Kusum, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Kumkum Bhagya and Parineeti. Dolly had shared a photo on social media after her chemotherapy session last year. It read, ‘Thank you all for sending your love and prayers, life has been a roller coaster recently, but if you have the strength to fight it then your journey becomes easier. It depends on you whether you choose to be a victim of the journey (cancer) or a survivor of the journey.
