Fasten your seat belts for the roller-coaster ride of love as Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Colors TV show ‘Udaariyaan’ is going to take an exciting leap of 15 years. Following a heart-touching journey across three generations, this romantic drama will be seen continuing its legacy with new characters. The recently released promo gave a glimpse of the life of Sarab, Hania and Meher, whose characters will be played by actors Avinesh Rekhi, Aditi Bhagat and Shreya Jain respectively. The exciting twist in the serial will keep the audience engaged. The show features a conflict between Sarab and Meher, who find themselves going in opposite directions when it comes to matters of the heart. While the positive Haniya sees love as a delicate sprout that must be nurtured carefully, the strong-willed Mehar sees it as a weed that can hinder her progress.
In the show, both the sisters are seen living their lives with their respective ideologies. So the entry of extremely handsome Sarab is seen. With new stories and characters in the show, ‘Udaariyaan’ promises to evolve a fresh perspective on love and relationships.
On playing the role of Sarab, Avinesh Rekhi says, “Playing the role of Sarab in Udaariyaan feels like going back to my roots. I started my career with Colors, and after the immense success of Choti Sarrdaarni, I am thrilled to start this new chapter of Udaariyaan. The character of Sarab is a new challenge for me. Shooting in beautiful locations of Punjab is always fun. With the support of an amazing team and the love of our audience, I am ready to bring this character to life.”
Excited to play the role of Hania, Aditi Bhagat says, “From playing the character of Aasma to now playing the role of Hania, it has been an amazing journey for me. Playing the role of Hania will be really interesting and challenging as it is quite different from the character of Aasam. I would love to accept this challenge. Despite differences in temperament, Haniya has the basic nature of Asma. I feel fortunate that I have got the opportunity to be a part of the legacy of this show, albeit in a different role. I hope the audience will like my new character the same way they liked Asmaan.”
Shreya Jain, who is thrilled to play the role of Meher, says, “Udaariyaan has received immense love and support from the audience, and I am thrilled to take its legacy forward. There are many facets to Meher’s character, and it will be interesting for the audience to see it slowly unfolding. I am shooting in Chandigarh for the first time, and I am very excited.
