In an Instagram post, Mukesh Khanna said that despite Ranveer’s star power, he could never capture the essence of Shaktimaan. Mukesh even said that he is unfit for a role like Shaktimaan.

He said that Finland, Spain and other countries are where actors can showcase their bodies. Mukesh said, ‘Work in such films where you get to do nude scenes in every third scene.’

He told the producers that your competition is not with Spider-Man, Batman, Captain Planet because Shaktimaan is not just a superhero but a super teacher. Mukesh advised careful casting to find the right actor to play the role of Shaktimaan. According to reports, the shooting of Shaktimaan will begin in May 2025 and the film will be directed by Basil Joseph.
