It is noteworthy that Matka has been directed by Karuna Kumar. The film stars Guntur Karam fame Meenakshi Choudhary in the lead role, and the ensemble cast includes Naveen Chandra, Kannada Kishore, Ajay Ghosh, Mime Gopi, Rupalakshmi, Vijayarama Raju, Jagadish, Raj Thiranadas and others.
