Dunky has crossed the 200 crore mark in India and 400 crore mark worldwide. Shahrukh ended the year on a great note with Dunk with Raj Kumar Hirani. With the success of Dunki, Shahrukh Khan has scored a hat-trick in 2023. With Pathan, Jawan and now Donkey, the superstar has ruled the box office throughout the year. Pathan earned Rs 1,050.30 crore, while Jawan made a lifetime collection of Rs 1,148.32 crore worldwide and now Dunky has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark, maintaining King Khan’s streak of giving blockbusters in a single year. Interestingly, 2023 also turned out to be SRK’s year, as apart from Raj Kapoor, no actor has given back-to-back all-time grossing films in a year. In this way, Shahrukh Khan did a total business of Rs 2600 crore in 2023 through Pathan, Jawan and Donkey, while the total earning of Bollywood in 2023 was Rs 4400 crore.
Dunky has a stellar cast, including Shah Rukh Khan along with Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover in lead roles. Presented by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Kanika Dhillon, Dunky is now out on the big screens.
