Shaitaan box office collection day 4:Director Vikas Bahl’s fantastic thriller ‘Shaitan’ starring Ajay Devgan, R Madhavan and Jyothika in lead roles was released on last Friday i.e. 8th March. Talking about the box office collection of the film, there was an increase in earnings for three consecutive days from the first day. However, on Monday i.e. March 11, the figures slipped slightly. According to Sacnilk, Shaitan started with Rs 14.75 crore on March 8 (Friday). After this, on March 9 the figure reached 18.75 crores, on March 10 the earning was 20.05 crores. That means the weekend was good. Then came Monday i.e. 11th March. This day proved to be heavy for the film as well. If the initial estimates of this day are to be believed, the film collected Rs 7 crore on the first Monday. In such a situation, overall the film has earned Rs 61 crore so far.
It is a remake of Gujarati film Shaitaan.
Directed by Vikas, Shaitan has been produced under the banner of Jio Studio, Devgan Films and Panorama Studio. This film is the Hindi remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Wash. Gujarati Wash is written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. The film tells the story of a family who is held hostage in their home by a man with supernatural powers.
