The webseries named Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is going to be released very soon. Before that, the star cast of the film is busy in its tremendous promotion. Along with actresses like Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Shekhar Suman and his son Adhyayan Suman will also be seen in the film. Hiramandi is a series based on red light area. Shekhar Suman is going to be seen in a big project after a long time. Interestingly, his film journey also started with a film festival based on the red light area. Rekha’s house was raided by IT
Shekhar Suman was offered a film named Utsav just a few days after coming to Mumbai. He was opposite Rekha in this film. He had a shoot schedule with Rekha on the very first day of the shoot. Just then information came from Rekha’s house that there was a raid on her house by the IT i.e. Income Tax Department. After this, Shekhar Suman felt that after hearing this news, Rekha would stop the shooting and return back. But nothing like this happened. Instead of returning, Rekha adopted professional behavior and said let the IT team do their work and continued shooting.
Rekha was in the role of Vasanthasena
In the film Utsav, Rekha was in the character named Vasantasena and Shekhar Suman was Charudutt. Shekhar Suman was barely 22 years old at that time and he got a chance to work with an actress like Rekha. Initially he was very nervous about this. But as the days passed, his confidence kept increasing. However, as soon as he heard about the Income Tax Raid, he felt that Rekha would stop the shooting and return and he would lose the opportunity to work with a big actress.
