Rekha, who started her career as a child artist in a Telugu film in 1966, became such a sensation in the Bollywood industry that in the 70s-80s-90s, everyone longed to work with her. Moonlight
Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi’s 1989 film Chandni was first offered to Rekha. Actually Yash Chopra wanted to make this film with Rekha but she refused to do this film. After this, this film proved to be a milestone for Sridevi.
Courageous
The 1983 film Himmatwala is a remix version of a Tamil film. Rekha played the lead role in it. Rekha was approached for its Hindi remake but she refused to do the role. After this, Sridevi was signed opposite Jeetendra.
Nagin
Rekha’s rejected films also include the 1976 blockbuster film Nagin. In this, Rajkumar Kohli wanted to sign Rekha for the lead role. But when she refused, this role was offered to Reena Roy and this film proved to be a huge hit for her. However, later Rekha played a supporting role in it.

Rekha was first signed for the 1990 film Karnama. She had even started shooting for this film. But she could not continue this film further. After this, on Dharmendra’s recommendation, this role was given to Anita Raj and this film proved to be a huge hit for her.

The second part of Welcome movie, Welcome Back, was released in 2015. In this, Dimple Kapadia’s role was first offered to Rekha. But Rekha refused to do this film. After this, Dimple Kapadia got this role and she acted brilliantly.
