South’s blockbuster film Billa is going to be released in theaters once again. This film of actor Ajit Kumar was very much liked. This was called a great film. The film Billa was released in 2007. Arvind Suresh Kumar and Dr Gyan Barathi of GB Entertainment are releasing the film on 1st May in more than 150 screens across Tamil Nadu through ATM Productions. The Tamil film Billa is one of the earliest successful remake films in the Tamil industry.

Vishnuvardhan and Ajit Kumar’s Badla has made a great record at the box office. Ajith Kumar’s double role along with the brilliant screen presence of Nayanthara and other actors, Nirav Shah’s stunning visuals and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s power-packed musical score created an unforgettable cinematic experience for the audience.
Ajith Kumar’s Billa was released in 2007 on 200 screens in Tamil Nadu and 50 screens abroad. It is said that the film was made with a budget of Rs 15 crore while it was sold for Rs 25 crore. Billa ran in theaters for 175 days and proved to be a blockbuster film. Billa was directed by Vishnuvardhan. It was a remake of Rajinikanth’s 1980 film of the same name, while Rajinikanth’s Billa was a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s Don (1978).
