Richa Sharma got this special opportunity. He did five films in his only three year long acting career. ‘Aag Hi Aag’ released in 1987 was the last film of Richa’s acting career. How did you get your first film?
In 1978, Dev Anand reached New York to release his film Des Pardes, which Richa came to see with her family. During this time, Richa got a chance to meet Dev Anand and he expressed his desire to act in films. Then Richa was just 14 years old, Dev Anand asked her to complete her studies. He also gave his number to Richa and remained in constant touch with her. After which in 1985, we signed Richa for Naujawan. After this, Richa worked in Anubhav and Insaaf Ki Awaaz in 1986. In 1987, Richa’s two more films Sadak Chhap and Aag Hi Aag came.

Sanjay Dutt saw Richa Sharma at a disco in New York where she was with her sister Ana, Dev Anand’s daughter and Vicky Bahl. Sanjay’s eyes stopped at her red glitter earrings. In 1987, Sanjay and Richa got married in New York. In 1988, Richa gave birth to a lovely daughter Trishala. Richa became a victim of a serious disease like brain cancer due to which she died on 10 December 1996. Richa’s daughter Trishala lives in New York, whom Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor recently met.
