Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi made his debut in 2003 with the film ‘Footpath’. Recently, in an interview given to Indian Express, Hashmi shared his early experiences in the industry. Despite being associated with popular film makers Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, Hashmi was told that if her performance was not good, she would be removed from the film. He recalled that Mahesh Bhatt had told him, “If you don’t prove to be good in the first shot and then in the subsequent scenes, we will throw you out of the film.”

Imran tells how fear was created in him by warning him to perform well or forget acting. “He was very clear. He said that if the audience does not support you, if you are not a good actor then we cannot invest our money on you because we are not here for charity.
