Recently, Chunky Pandey spoke openly about his long-standing relationship with superstar Shahrukh Khan. The actor recently appeared on Time Out with Ankit and talked about Shahrukh’s early days in Mumbai. During his conversation, Chunky Pandey revealed that there was a time when Shahrukh Khan lived in a rented house with his wife, interior designer Gauri Khan. Chunky said, “I think when he came to Bombay, one of his first friends was my younger brother Chikki. They are still best friends. So at that time they (Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan) were renting a place and they used to come to meet my brother. Everyone used to sit and watch video cassettes. That’s why he and Gauri used to come to my house often.”
Chunky Pandey said that he always believed that Shahrukh Khan would “become a superstar”. He said, ‘With Shahrukh, I was completely sure that this boy would become a superstar. Because there was that thing in him, you could see that fire… it was always there in him. That talent was always with him before he became a superstar. So he knew where he was going. I mean yes of course I’m very proud that I’ve known him since then. That hasn’t changed.”
Earlier, Chunky Pandey’s daughter actress Ananya Pandey had revealed that she had spent a lot of time at Shahrukh Khan’s house in her childhood. In an interview with No Filter Neha, Ananya, who is Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan’s best friend, talked about going to play at the superstar’s house. The actress said, “I think he is a simple person… We didn’t feel like that. He didn’t make us feel like that. I don’t think he makes anyone feel like that. He makes the other person feel like a king.” This is a wonderful specialty.”
