Government job portal National Career Service (NCS) has said a big thing regarding jobs in the country. According to NCS data, in the financial year 2023-24, jobs were more than job seekers i.e. applicants. During this period, there were 1 crore 9 lakh 24 thousand 161 vacancies on the portal, while 87 lakh 27 thousand 900 people applied. NCS data also shows that triple the number of jobs (214%) came in 2023-24 as compared to 2022-23. According to the data, there were 34 lakh 81 thousand 944 jobs in the financial year 2022-23, which increased to 1 crore 9 lakh 24 thousand 161 in 2023-24. A senior officer told news agency ANI that the reason for the increase in jobs is the growth in the economy. On March 30 this year, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said in Mumbai that India’s growth could be 8% in FY 24. Active Employers on NCS Portal More than 15 lakh jobs are posted on the NCS portal by employers on the basis of skills and educational qualifications. Data from the government portal shows that there were enough jobs in every category. Most of the demand was for low-skilled and low-paid jobs. Active employers on NCS portal are 15 lakh 64 thousand 800. This is 89% more than the financial year 2022-23.
