The new month i.e. May has brought with it many changes. These changes will affect your life and pocket also. 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 20 from today. Whereas if your savings account is in ICICI or Yes Bank, then now you will have to pay more charges. We are telling you about 4 such changes that have taken place from today… 1. The price of commercial gas cylinder reduced by Rs 20. Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 20 from today. The price in Delhi has now decreased by Rs 19 to Rs 1745.50. Earlier it was available for Rs 1764.50. Whereas in Kolkata the cylinder is now available at Rs 1859, down by Rs 20. Earlier its price was Rs 1879. In Mumbai, the cylinder price has decreased by Rs 19 from Rs 1717.50 to Rs 1698.50. Cylinder is available for Rs 1911 in Chennai. However, there is no change in the price of 14.2 KG domestic gas cylinder. It is available for ₹ 803 in Delhi, ₹ 829 in Kolkata, ₹ 802.50 in Mumbai and ₹ 818.50 in Chennai. 2. ICICI has made changes in the rules related to savings account. ICICI Bank has made changes in the rules related to debit card of savings account. Now customers in rural areas will have to pay an annual fee of Rs 99 for debit card and Rs 200 in urban areas. Along with this, no fee will have to be paid for a check book of 25 pages, but after that, a charge of Rs 4 will have to be paid for each page of check book. IMPS transaction amount has been fixed from Rs 2.50 to Rs 15 per transaction. 3. Changes in the rules of minimum balance in Yes Bank. There has been a change in the charges for not maintaining the minimum average balance for the savings account of Yes Bank. According to the bank’s website, now a charge of up to Rs 1,000 will be charged for not maintaining a minimum average balance of Rs 50,000 for Yes Bank’s Pro Max Savings Accounts. Whereas for “Pro Plus”, “Yes Respect SA” and “Yes Essence SA” accounts, a maximum charge of Rs 750 will be levied for not maintaining the minimum average balance. Click here for more details 4. GST to be levied on IDFC First Bank credit card payments IDFC First Bank has said that it will levy an additional 1% + GST if the total amount of credit card payments for utility bills exceeds Rs 20,000. First Private Credit Card, LIC Classic and LIC Select Credit Card will not come under this purview. Therefore, if the total of your utility bill transactions (gas, electricity and internet) within a statement cycle is Rs 20,000 or less, there is no surcharge. However, if they exceed Rs 20,000, there will be an additional 18% GST on top of the 1% surcharge. There is no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. There is no change in the prices of petrol and diesel even today i.e. on 1st May. At present, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 94.72 per liter while diesel is being sold at Rs 87.62 per litre. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre.
