Fall in stock market today: Sensex fell 435 points and opened at 72,591, Nifty also slipped 149 points.

A decline is being seen in the stock market today i.e. on 26th March. Sensex opened with a fall of 435 points at the level of 72,591. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 149 points, it opened at the level of 21,947. During early trading, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 19 were seen declining and 11 were rising. Today there is a huge decline in power and banking shares. Power Grid shares are down by more than 3% today. Construction and developers company SRM Contractors Limited’s IPO i.e. Initial Public Offering is opening for public subscription from today. Retail investors will be able to bid for this IPO till March 28. For this IPO, the retail investor will have to apply for a minimum of one lot i.e. 70 shares. The company has fixed the IPO price band at ₹200-₹210 per share. If you apply for 1 lot at the upper price band of IPO at ₹210, you will have to invest ₹14,700. Retail investors can bid for a maximum of 13 lots i.e. 910 shares, for which they will have to invest ₹191,100. There was a rise in the market on Friday. Earlier, on the last trading day of the week i.e. March 22, there was a rise in the stock market. The Sensex closed at 72,831 with a gain of 190 points. At the same time, there was a rise of 84 points in Nifty, it closed at the level of 22,096.
