The shoes and slippers available in India are of American or European sizes. This is the reason why they do not fit the feet of the people of our country. Actually, Indians have wider feet than Americans and Europeans. But companies prepare shoes and slippers only on the basis of foot length and width of Americans or Europeans. But, now this system is about to change. Footwear will be prepared as per Indian standards. Now Indian standards for shoes and slippers are being prepared. Now companies will separately produce footwear for Indians from the year 2025. For this, the code ‘Bha’ has been kept, which means India.
