HCL Tech Limited on Friday (April 26) released the results for Q4FY24 i.e. the fourth quarter of FY 2024. In the January-March quarter, the company’s net profit increased by 0.07% on annual basis (YoY) to ₹ 3,986 crore. In the same quarter (Q4FY23) last year, the company’s net profit was ₹3,983 crore. Whereas in the last quarter (Q3FY24) it was ₹4,350 crore. That means the company’s net profit on quarterly basis (QoQ) has declined by 8.4% in the fourth quarter. HCL Tech announced a dividend of Rs 18. Along with the results, the Board of Directors of HCL Tech has also approved a dividend of Rs 18 per share. Companies give some part of the profits to their shareholders, it is called dividend. HCL Tech’s income increased by 7.1% to ₹ 28,499 crore in the fourth quarter. HCL Tech’s income increased by 7.1% on an annual basis to ₹ 28,499 crore in the fourth quarter, which was ₹ 26,606 crore in the same quarter last year. Whereas in the last quarter (Q3FY24) the company’s income was ₹28,446 crore. That means the company’s income has increased by 0.2% in the fourth quarter as compared to the third quarter. The company hired 3,096 freshers in the fourth quarter. HCL shares gave 37.88% return in one year. Today HCL Tech shares fell 1.81% and closed at Rs 1,477. With this, the market cap of the company has also come to Rs 4 lakh crore. The company’s shares have fallen by about 5% in the last one month. The share has increased by 16.42% in the last six months. In the last one year, it gave 37.88% returns to investors.
