The profit of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation i.e. IRCTC in the fourth quarter (January-March) of FY 2024 has increased by 2% on an annual basis (YoY) to Rs 284 crore. The company’s standalone net profit was Rs 278 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The company has announced a final dividend of Rs 4 per share for the financial year 2024. Companies give a part of the profit to their shareholders, it is called dividend. IRCTC released its fourth quarter and annual results today i.e. on 28 May. IRCTC gave 67.71% return in the last one year Before the result, IRCTC stock closed today with a decline of 1.66% at Rs 1,083. It has given a return of 54.60% in the last 6 months and 67.71% in 1 year. Whereas, so far this year the stock has climbed 21.43%. However, in the last 5 trading days, IRCTC shares have given a negative return of 4.25%. Its shares were listed in the market on 14 October 2019. The company’s profit increased by 10.54% in FY 2024 IRCTC’s profit increased by 10.54% to ₹ 1111 crore in the entire financial year 2024. The profit in FY 2023 was ₹ 1005 crore. Operation revenue increased 19% in March quarter IRCTC’s operation revenue stood at Rs 1,155 crore with a growth of 19% in the March quarter, while in the same period a year ago it was Rs 965 crore. On the other hand, if we talk on an annual basis, a growth of 20% has been seen in the operation revenue. Operation revenue stood at Rs 4270 crore in the entire financial year 2024. Whereas, in the financial year 2023 it was Rs 3541 crore.
