Mining company Vedanta Limited on Thursday (April 25) released the results for Q4FY24 i.e. the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024. In the January-March quarter, the company’s net profit declined by 27.4% on an annual basis (YoY) to ₹ 2,273 crore. In the same quarter last year (Q4FY23), the company’s net profit was ₹3,132 crore. Whereas in the last quarter (Q3FY24) it was ₹2,868 crore. That means the company’s net profit on quarterly basis (QoQ) has declined by 20.47% in the fourth quarter. Vedanta’s fourth quarter income was ₹ 35,509 crore. Vedanta’s fourth quarter income fell by 6.4% year-on-year to ₹ 35,509 crore, which was ₹ 37,930 crore in the same quarter last year. Whereas in the last quarter (Q3FY24) the company’s income was ₹34,968 crore. That means the company’s income has increased by 1.54% in the fourth quarter as compared to the third quarter. Vedanta gave investors a return of 42% in one month. On Thursday, Vedanta’s shares closed at Rs 379, up 1.16%. The market cap of the company is Rs 1.41 lakh crore. In the last one month, the company has given a return of 42% to its investors. The company’s shares have increased by 78.56% in the last six months. Talking about the last one year, it has given a return of 37.22%.
