An interesting thing has emerged in the results of class 12th of Bihar Board this year. Girls have achieved more success in Arts stream, where their pass rate is higher than boys. And they have proved their talent to everyone, while boys have won in Science and Commerce stream. When we talk about numbers, girls in Arts stream Has won, more girls have succeeded here. But, the story of Science and Commerce stream is a little different. In both these streams, boys appeared in greater numbers and more of them have been successful, but percentage wise it is less.
Science Stream
In Science stream, 222265 girls appeared for the examination, out of which 199384 passed. Whereas, 395069 boys took the exam, out of which 342624 passed. According to this, more boys passed than girls. However, girls remained ahead in terms of passing percentage. The passing percentage of girls in science stream is 89.71%, while the success rate of boys is 86.72%.
Art stream
In the art stream, a total of 386572 girls appeared in the examination. Appeared, out of which 340445 achieved success, which is approximately 88.07% success rate. On the other hand, 247908 boys appeared for the exam, out of which 206176 passed, which means the success rate for boys was approximately 83.16%. It is clear from this that girls have performed better than boys in the Arts stream. More number of girls have passed.
Commerce Stream
In Commerce stream 13320 girls appeared in the examination, out of which 12909 passed. . Whereas, 26338 boys took the exam, out of which 24720 passed. According to this, more boys passed than girls. However, girls remained ahead in terms of passing percentage. The passing percentage of girls in commerce stream is 96.91%, while the success rate of boys is 93.85%.
Know about all three streams
This year Bihar Board A total of 87.21% students have passed in class 12th. When we talk about all three streams – Arts, Science, and Commerce – girls have won with 88.84% pass percentage. At the same time, boys have performed well with a pass percentage of 85.69%.
