Although he appeared in UPSC exam four times. While holding this post, he prepared for UPSC exam.

He used to study through social media even during lunch time. In the year 2019, the hard work of IAS Pradeep Singh bore fruit. Pradeep had secured first rank in the Civil Services Examination held in the year 2019. Pradeep says that to crack an exam like UPSC, the most important thing is time management.
