Know in five points why Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s BMCM flopped

Eid has always brought gifts of happiness for Bollywood. Salman Khan’s Eid track record has been excellent. But this Eid was completely lackluster. Two Bollywood films Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan and Maidan were released. Rs 600 crores at stake. But both the films failed at the box office. If we talk about Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, there was tremendous hype about the film. There were action stars like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. There were directors like Ali Abbas Zafar. But still the film costing Rs 350 crore was seen gasping just to cross the Rs 50 crore mark. Let us find out in five points what went wrong.

1. Weak content
There was a joke in the name of content in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The story was kept very light. The director focused solely on action. The audience did not like this, and they turned away from the film with a weak story with all their might.

2. Same old enemy
In Pathan, Gadar 2, Tiger 3 and then in Fighter, we have seen the enemy against whom Bade Miyan and Chhote Miyan had set out on a mission. Now so many films have already been made on this enemy. How many more films will the audience watch? Then what new would have happened?

3. Track record of stars
Elder Mian Akshay Kumar and younger Mian Tiger Shroff are in that phase of their career where their fans are moving away from them. A glimpse of this can be seen through the collection of some of his last released films. Tiger’s Heropanti 2 and Ganpat both were flops. Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu, Selfie and Mission Raniganj also disappointed. In such a situation, the expectations of the audience from these stars reduce.

4.weak music
The music of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was not effective at all. There was no song in the film which was on the tongue of the audience. In this way the film could not make its place among the audience.

5. Salman Khan Factor
For some time now, Eid has been considered to be Salman Khan only. Fans eagerly wait for Salman Khan’s film on Eid. But this time no film of Bhaijaan was released. Because of this, the audience coming to cinema halls during Eid stayed away from theatres. The elder brother and younger brother had to suffer the consequences of this. Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan remained the weakest opening film till date on Eid.

Akshay Kumar has such a long line of films in the coming days that he will have little chance to think about this flop. But Tiger must introspect.
