There was one such film in which 10 brilliant heroes were seen, but the film did very badly at the box office and the makers also lost crores of rupees. Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Sonu Nigam, Arshad Warsi, Armaan Kohli, Rajat Bedi, Aftab Shivdasani, Aditya Pancholi and Sharad Kapoor were in lead roles in this film. Before its release, Jaani Dushman was a much talked about film. Everyone was eagerly waiting for this film because it had 10 heroes. But when Jaani Dushman was released, the film flopped badly at the box office. Which greatly disappointed the expectations of the audience.

However, despite being a flop, the film Jaani Dushman proved to be a profitable deal for Akshay Kumar. This was revealed by Khiladi Kumar in Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan. Akshay Kumar said, ‘I was cast in this film on a day-to-day basis. I was being paid day after day until the villain killed my character, then my shooting was over, but the character in the film was still not finished. I must thank the second hero who was scheduled to start shooting, but was stuck in New York.

He further said, ‘When I came to know about it, I went to the director and asked him, should I come back? The director told me, ‘Your character is not dead, he is alive, he is in a coma’. After this Akshay Kumar again returned to the shooting of the film. He further revealed, ‘I shot for 5 more days and earned more money. I wanted to buy a house because I was in an urgent situation where I lived. The money I earned from my known enemy I gave to the man who was selling the house. My known enemy gave me the flat where I live now.
